NEW receives $40,000 grant from Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan for internal capacity building for nonprofit organizational development work.
Ann Arbor and Detroit, MI – NEW is excited to announce that the Community Foundation of Southeast Michigan has awarded the organization a $40,000 grant that will support internal capacity building to help strengthen program and service delivery to the nonprofit sector in southeast Michigan.
“I believe our work is needed more than ever in the non-profit sector. As our colleagues try to navigate these uncharted waters they should be assured that NEW will be there for the long haul,” says Michael Tyson, NEW’s CEO/President. “Support from our partners at the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan makes that possible.”

NEW’s team of proven financial experts can provide an organization with cost effective bookkeeping and financial consulting solutions to help it concentrate on mission-related matters with a solid financial foundation. The NEW Center in Ann Arbor provides affordable office and meeting space for nonprofits, along with promoting relationships within the nonprofit community.
