kernRichard Kern | Finance Director
As Finance Director, Richard is the lead financial consultant and accounting specialist for NEW. He provides financial consulting and training for nonprofits, as well as general bookkeeping and accounting support to NEW’s clients. Richard is an experienced finance professional with management, communication, and organizational skills and has an extensive background in leadership cultivation, coaching and training.
Richard joined NEW in June 2015 after a 32-year career in the banking industry in a wide range of roles. His last ten years were spent with Wells Fargo Bank’s Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Division, where he was most recently a Regional Credit Supervisor for CRE, responsible for a $1B+ loan portfolio in the upper Midwest. Richard received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College in Easton, PA.


Victor Semelsberger | Chief Financial Officervictor
As Chief Financial Officer, Victor is responsible for all accounting and finance activities for NEW. Vic is also a financial consultant for NEW. With more than 30 years of experience in banking and commercial real estate, Victor’s expertise is rooted in effective financial management. Prior to joining NEW in July 2012, Victor began his professional career in Jan 1979 in banking at the National Bank of Detroit (NBD). Victor left Bank One (successor by merger to NBD) in June 2000 to start his own real estate investment, development, and construction company. Victor received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois in Champagne, Illinois.
