NEW has been helping nonprofits succeed by strengthening management and offering solutions to issues facing the nonprofit community for over 16 years. We are passionate about helping nonprofits because we see the vital role they play in our community on a daily basis. Nonprofits help the most vulnerable, create brighter futures, give hope, encourage stewardship, and have significant global effects. We know we make an important difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community. In order for NEW to continue to support your community nonprofits through our unique programs, we need your help through donations.

Gifts to NEW are tax-deductible, and Michigan residents are eligible to claim a state tax credit as well. Your donation translates into support for the hundreds of nonprofits we work with each year throughout Washtenaw County and southeast Michigan.

• $40 pays for one year of The Board Room – a nonprofit collection of templates, forms, and samples to use in conducting nonprofit board business. Each item can be downloaded and adapted for an organization’s specific use.
• $120 pays for a month of IT helpdesk support (including security and troubleshooting) for a three-person nonprofit.
• $400 allows a nonprofit board to get Board360 – a comprehensive online board assessment tool with an executive summary and action plan.
• $720 per year provides a nonprofit with membership in the NEW Center’s Affiliates Program, giving them access to a mailing address at the NEW Center; fax, copier, and postage machine privileges; and bimonthly conference room use.
• $1,300 per year covers NEW's annual membership for The Foundation Directory Online. Nonprofits have access to this valuable fundraising tool through NEW’s ResourceConnect program at no cost!
