AAPSEF provides grants for programs in the Ann Arbor Public Schools in support of innovative and excellent educational opportunities no longer possible because of budget reductions. Grants range from $500 - $50,000.

Educational excellence in public schools is a community resource long taken for granted in Ann Arbor. Residents could assert their belief in excellence by voting for support through tax millages for education. Tax increases for education has not been possible in Michigan since 1991 and nearly all school districts are suffering - programs are being reduced or eliminated, innovative programs cannot be tried. The Educational Foundation is the vehicle through which private citizens can support public school quality through contributions.
