Linh Song, MSW is the director of npServ, an information technology program of Nonprofit Enterprise at Work (NEW). Ms. Song has a strong technical background having worked in the I.T.industry and created online communities with nonprofits for the past 11 years. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies and government entities including eBay, the United Nations, U.S. Department of State, and Bank of America. Ms. Song is also active in the nonprofit community having founded a nonprofit and recently served as the Executive Director of Ethica, an international advocacy group for ethical adoption practices. Through this work she has supported online communities of nearly 2,000 members and conducted online fundraisers, one of which resulted in over $20,000 in 3 days. She uses her social networking expertise in YahooGroups, Facebook, Flickr, Twitter, and blogging in order to diversify funding sources and promote nonprofit missions to new audiences. Ms. Song holds an M.S.W. from the University of Michigan School of Social Work and works from NEW offices in both Detroit and Ann Arbor.
